North America OmniSTAR Frequency Change

This notice is to inform you that OmniSTAR's North American satellites have recently undergone a change in frequencies. This update is applicable only to North American OmniSTAR users. Users with third party software should contact the software manufacturer for any updates regarding these changes.
Please note the new frequencies:

Satellite	Frequency	Data Rate
. MSVEN	1557.855 Mhz	1200 bps
. MSVCN	1557.835 Mhz	1200 bps
. MSCWN	1557.845 Mhz	1200 bps

The new North American frequencies are currently available. All customers must transition to the new frequencies as soon as possible. Previous frequencies for satellites West (1536.7820 Mhz) and East (1530.3590 Mhz) were discounted on 20 June 2008. The previous frequency for the Central satellite (81534.7410 Mhz) will be available until 20 August 2008. For more information on uploading from the zip file see the memo listed above.
